Livestock & Landscape Youth Group

New for this year!

Livestock & Landscape – Summer Youth Club!

Are you aged between 11-16 and fancy getting stuck into real farm life this summer?

Come and join us at Hazel Brow Farm for our Livestock & Landscape sessions — a relaxed, hands-on group for young people who love farming, animals, the outdoors, or just want to try something a bit different.

No experience needed at all — just come along and give it a go!

Over 6 fun sessions, you’ll get the chance to:

Meet and handle livestock

Help out with jobs around the farm

Have a go at planting and growing

Learn where your food really comes from

Explore the landscape and wildlife of the Dales

Take part in games, challenges and group activities

Guest speakers and demonstrations

Make new friends along the way

It’s a great way to build confidence, learn practical skills, and see if a future in farming, animals or the countryside could be for you. This could be your first step into a career in agriculture!

Sessions will run every Wednesday from 9:00am to 12:00pm from the 22nd July to the 26th August.

Hazel Brow Farm, Low Row, Richmond, DL11 6NE

Sessions are completely free to attend.

You’re welcome to come to all sessions or just the ones you can make — no pressure.

Parents can drop off or stay at the visitor centre.

Small, friendly groups led by farmers

Indoor space if the weather turns (it is Yorkshire after all!)

To join, just email: info@hazelbrowfarm.org

We would love to see as many faces as possible!
