Hazel Brow Farm Education Link (HBFEL)

Hazel Brow Farm Education Link (HBFEL) is our not-for-profit community group, providing wellbeing opportunities and farm outreach. We believe that helping people understand and appreciate farming and nature starts with giving them opportunities to experience it first-hand. Through learning and practical involvement, we help people connect with the countryside, discover where their food comes from and understand the role farming plays in caring for our landscapes and wildlife.

Through our National Lottery Awards for All funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, we also offer volunteering opportunities at Hazel Brow Farm to help people connect with nature, learn new skills and meet others. You don’t need to have an additional need to get involved — anyone interested in lending a hand is welcome to get in touch. Activities may include caring for livestock, lamb feeding, wildlife monitoring, maintaining our nature trail, composting, traditional crafts and dry stone walling.
