National Meadows Day – Returning in 2027!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for National Meadows Day 2026 at Hazel Brow Farm. We loved welcoming visitors to explore our traditional upland hay meadows and learn more about the incredible wildlife, farming and conservation work behind them.

We’re pleased to say that we hope to celebrate National Meadows Day again in 2027!

The Yorkshire Dales is home to some of the UK’s most species-rich hay meadows. These increasingly rare habitats are incredibly important for wildflowers, pollinators, birds and other wildlife, while also forming an important part of the farming heritage and landscape of the Dales.

Our National Meadows Day is a relaxed, family-friendly opportunity to explore the farm when the meadows are at their best. Activities can include meadow identification and discovery, nature and conservation activities, crafts, our self-guided nature trail and opportunities to learn about traditional meadow management and farming with nature.

Full details, dates, activities and booking information for National Meadows Day 2027 will be announced nearer the time.

Keep checking our website and social media pages for updates – we hope to welcome you back to the meadows in 2027!
