Beginners’ Birdwatching Course
Are you keen to get into birds but don’t know how? Lockdown taught us the benefits to body, mind and soul that come from tuning into the natural world. Getting started, however, can be daunting… Which binoculars should you get? Which bird book is the best? Do you need special equipment or to visit certain places? Ecologist and bird behaviour expert Dr Kat Vasby-Burnie (Wildcat Learning) will demystify bird watching and give you the confidence you need to embark on a life-long passion!
We will be outside for much of this course, so please dress appropriately for the weather and be prepared for uneven ground.
Dates for this course will be available in Autumn 2023.
Meet 930am at the Visitor Centre. The course will finish at 3pm.
Hot drinks will be provided, but please bring a packed lunch.
Contact Kat (firstname.lastname@example.org) to discuss availability and needs.
